iHeart Cooking Club June 2015

What a fun night at iHeart Cooking club this month!!!! On the menu was some really delicious dishes! ((These recipes are all found pinned on my pinterest page by clicking here or on the recipe name itself below))

First on the menu was the Confetti Pasta Salad. With some delicious cheese tortellini, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, green onions, fresh garlic and all tossed in Italian dressing. This came out so good, it is definitely a recipe I will repeat!!

Next on the menu was Chicago Style Hot Dogs. This is such a unique way to make a regular summer time recipe, at cooking club we all loved how it came out! So this is a MUST TRY recipe especially for fathers day and 4th of July approaching!! Made on stoneware, the bottom “crust” is made of flaky buttermilk biscuits!! They cooked up nice and brown! Then some cut up hot dogs, chopped pickles, onion and tomato mixed all together and then spread out on top of the crust!! Sprinkle with cheddar cheese and decorate with some yellow mustard. I have never personally had a Chicago style hot dog, but this was a great recipe!

You can’t have hot dogs during the summer months, fathers day or 4th of July without a hamburger!!!! Similar to the how the traditional hot dog was all seperated, we have the Deluxe Cheeseburger Salad. Romaine lettuce on the bottom. Ground beef was cooked up and mixed with ketchup, mustard, dill pickles and layered on top of the lettuce. Toasted hamburger buns, cheddar cheese, onions and tomatoes as the toppings. Such a different way to present the traditional hamburger!!! And it looks so nice!
